The 5th Congress of NAR for the Communist Liberation was successfully completed

The 5th Congress of NAR for the Communist Liberation was successfully completed.
The congress was an essential collective and democratic process with the participation of more than 300 elected representatives from all the organizations of NAR, as well as dozens other members and invited militants of the revolutionary struggle.
A special feature was the substantial contribution of a new generation of militants of our organization who, through their political positions, their contribution to the decision-making process and their participation in the new elected bodies, gave the proceedings a breath of life and vitality. Dozens of delegates from all regions of the country and abroad, from various workplaces, fronts and movements delivered speeches during the congress. Greetings from Greek and foreign organizations/parties were made and a wealth of experiences and proposals for the political decision of the congress were submitted.
The congress gave its approval for our organization to take the next step in its 34-year course. As the Congress Resolution emphasizes:
"The 5th Congress aims to make the decisive step towards the formation of a superior communist organization in the immediate future. This decisive step will contribute to the re-launching of communist ideas among the working class, the people and the youth, it will raise the strategic, programmatic and political bar of our contribution. The 5th Congress decides on a concrete plan of practical and political steps leading to the foundation of the new organization, a plan involving the political-organizational steps and the milestones required up to that point, with the aim of establishing the new communist organization."
The political decision of the 5th Congress, which will be made public in the next few days, was voted for by 71.9% of the delegates, with a 16.4% of blank votes and a 11.7% of negative votes.
After the fruitful and substantial discussion, the voting process on the draft decision and the final approval of the Political Decision of the Congress, the electoral process of the new Political Committee of NAR for the Communist Liberation took place. The latter will include 51 comrades, with a renewal rate of more than 40% of its members.
NAR emerges from its 5th Congress with determination and a new breath for the great tasks and challenges it needs to face in the immediate future.
