NAR: Message to the Lugansk anti-fascist, internationalist Forum

Dear comrades,

On behalf of the New Left Current (NAR) for the Communist Liberation we are sending you our warmest  comradely greetings. We are proud for the popular antifascist struggle and the pioneer role of the communist forces in the heroic resistance in Donbass.

The USA and the EU support, coordinate and guide the Kiev regime in order to serve their geopolitcal interests but also as an experiment of crisis management. The collaboration between neoliberal and fascist forces as a governance model and the relentless war against the “enemy within” reveal the ruthless character of the EuroAtlantic imperialism and stand as ultra-reactionary answers to the structural crisis of capitalism. The outcome of the struggle in Ukraine is going to determine the international developments. This is why in Greece, the supporters of the anti-labor, anti-popular austerity policies use against the working people as a scarecrow the following question: “Would you like Greece to become a second Ukraine?”. Thanks to you we are able to answer with courage against such challenges according to the path you've opened, with your antifascist uprising, the revolt and the pronouncement of the People's Republics. We are inspired by your sacrifices for our own battles for a Greek country outside the European Union, outside the Eurozone, without austerity and blackmails from the local and the international oligarchy and ultimately without the domination of capitalist relations.

The stance towards the popular antifascist struggle shapes the character of the Left and the workers' movement globally and sets the line with the historically bankrupt ideas which underestimated the threat during the Maidan riots or keep until today an equal distance between the two fighting sides. The organization of the political forum on May the 8^th is, in our opinion, a top initiative which gives the possibility of a new internationalist coordination of broad anti-imperialist – antifascist and anticapitalist forces as well as forces of communist orientation forces which seek a new socialist and communist perspective.

Our organization has been participating from the first moment together with other collectives in the Greek Solidarity Campaign with the Antifascist Struggle for Ukraine organizing multiple solidarity events, giving the battle of counter-information against the regime propaganda and also by taking part in the first antifascist solidarity caravan, in September 2014. We regard as a big honour for our organization our participation as a part of the Greek mission, wth a large delegation, in the second International Caravan, the International Forum and the celebrations for the 70 years from the antifascist victory on the side of the people who fight fascism with the gun in their hand.
